Although careful negative handling and thorough cleaning can minimise the possibilities of dust getting onto the film, invariably some marks will remain and will show up in the digitally scanned images. All DI work at Efilm includes a standard amount of dust-busting, leading to images that are cleaner than ever before.
Whenever negative is handled outside of Efilm or Atlab, the client should ensure that it is handled expertly and carefully to ensure that any necessary digital dirt removal is kept to a minimum to avoid any delays in the DI process.
