Samson & Delilah wins!!
AT THE 2009 KODAK INSIDE FILM AWARDS
Samson & Delilah, winner of the Palme D'Or at the 2009 Cannes Film Festical, has taken out six of the major awards at this year's Kodak Inside Film Awards. The film received the SHOWTIME IF Best Film Award for Warwick Thornton and Kath Shelper. Past winners of this award include Kenny, The Proposition and Japanses Story.
Marissa Gibson and Rowan McNamara overcame industry heavyweights Hugo Weaving, Frances O'Connor, Anothony La Paglia and Sasha Horler to win the Best Actress and Best Actor awards respectively.
Warwick Thornton walked away with the awards for Best Script, Best Music and Best Direction.
Efilm would also like to congratulate Dominic Allen for receiving the Efilm IF Award for Rising Talent.
