Through the integration of several post production processes, a digital intermediate allows filmmakers to evaluate and manipulate images prior to recording to film. Through scanning, assembly, colour correction, digital opticals and effects, a high resolution digital master can be created. This master can be recorded to film and any other medium such as a Digital Cinema Master, HD Masters, DVD and any combination of broadcast formats.
